Your transfer driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Zanzibar and take you to the airport. You’ll fly for about an hour to Arusha in a small plane. Then, your private safari guide will meet you at Arusha Airport and drive for 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for having many elephants and ancient baobab trees, the biggest trees in Africa. In an open-roof vehicle, you can see seasonal swamps, grassy areas, and the Tarangire River, where you’ll spot all sorts of wildlife like birds, giraffes, zebras, lions, and more. After all the adventure, you’ll head to your accommodation for dinner and spend overnight there. Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge or Similar. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day Ngorongoro crater tour with a picnic lunch. The wonderful ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater, also renowned as the “8th natural wonder of the world,” is the setting for this remarkable game drive. You will be satisfied with magnificent animal watching if you descend the crater, which covers around 260sq kilometers and has walls that are 2000 feet high. Ngorongoro is really one of the few places where you may witness the critically endangered black rhinos. After lunch at the hippo pool, the game will continue where you’ll travel to Lake Magadi, where you’ll probably witness a lot of pink flamingos, hippos, and many kinds of birds. After all that we will travel to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Heritage Manyara Safari Lodge or Similar. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Today, you will visit Lake Manyara for a game drive. Animals such as buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, mongoose, dik-dik, and zebras congregate on the grassy plains while the acacia woodland is home to the mythical tree-climbing lions and elephants. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life with more than 400 species being recorded. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration as well as other large water birds such as pelicans and storks. You will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue for short game driving while you exit the park and drive to Arusha where you will catch your flight back to Zanzibar. No accommodation.
