Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : GUWAHATI– KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK ( BY ROAD – 220 KM / 5 HOURS )

  Welcome to Assam- Guwahati. You are received on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Our representative will hand you our India travel kit that contains all your hotel and transport vouchers, air / rail tickets, a welcome letter from our Director and a list of do’ s and don’t s while traveling in India. Day is at leisure to let you overcome jet lag. Pick-up & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 2 : KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

  Morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Later breakfast at hotel. Afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Overnight stay at hotel. Note: Jungle Safari in Kaziranga National Park officially open from 01st Nov.

• Day 3 : KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – SHILLONG ( BY ROAD – 300 KM / 7 HOURS )

  After breakfast at hotel drive to Shillong ( 4,900 ft. ), called ‘Scotland of the East”. En-route visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival check – in at hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : CHERRAPUNJEE EXCURSION ( BY ROAD – 60 KM / 2 HOURS )

  After early breakfast proceed to excursion day visit to Cherrapunjee ( 4,400 ft. ), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong. En – route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Hotspots Shillong Peak
• Day 5 : SHILLONG – GUWAHATI ( BY ROAD – 100 KM / 3 HOURS )

  After breakfast at hotel visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. Later drive to Guwahati. Evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 6 : GUWAHATI

  After breakfast at hotel proceed for sightseeing tour covering Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Center and Sukreswar Temple ( The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva ). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 7 : GUWAHATI

  After breakfast at hotel drive & drop at Guwahati airport to connect for onward destination.
