Day 1 Nairobi

Day 2 Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart for safari, drive through the scenic Rift Valley and to Lake Nakuru National Park (220 km). Arrive for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 3 Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve (325 km). Arrive in time for lunch at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. In the afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara.

Day 4 Masai Mara

Today enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp.
Then head back out after lunch to explore more of the majestic Mara's wealth of wildlife.
Alternate option for this day (extra payable in advance):
Take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast then enjoy a game drive before heading back to the camp for a delicious hot lunch.

Day 5 Masai Mara

What Wildlife Can You See In The Masai Mara?

The Masai Mara is home to an abundance of wildlife including the Big Five: lions, African elephants, cape buffalo, black rhinoceros, and leopards. In addition, there are herd animals living here including zebra, gazelle and antelopes. Crocodiles, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs and jackals can also be found on the reserve. For bird watching fans, there are more than 470 species of birds that can be viewed in the national park, such as vultures, ostriches, hornbills and Kenya’s national bird, the lilac-breasted roller.
Visitors to the national reserve can witness the incredible wildebeest migration as they traverse the Great Plains between the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania. It’s a truly spectacular sight, with over a million wildebeest thundering across the savannah in search of greener pastures.
