The trip begins with a flight over the Himalayas into the Trans-Himalayan region of Ladakh in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. We spend a couple of days in Leh town acclimatizing at 11,000 feet above sea level and visiting the ancient monasteries, palaces and villages around Leh.Any Kind of Personal Expenses or Optional Tours / Extra Meals Ordered.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival In Leh

Leh Palace

Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served. Lunch will be served at 02:00pm. After lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Overnight Hotel.
Day 2

A Complete Day For Visits To The Monasteries (104 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries and Stok Palace Museum. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight Hotel.
Day 3

Leh To Phey To Nimoo ( Rafting) 3-4 Hrs

After Breakfast drive to Phey and start rafting on Indus River from Phey to Nimoo of Grade/Level II & III. Overnight in Camp at Nimoo.
Day 4

Chilling To Nimoo Rafting (30 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)

We raft 30 kms of Grade/Level III/IV on White water from Chilling to Nimoo today. We make camp short of Nimu, the confluence of the Zanskar with the Indus River. Overnight in Camp.
Day 5

Nimoo To Alchi (25 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)

Raft approximately 25 km from Nimoo to finish the trip at Alchi through Grade/Level III / IV rapids. After ending the trip at Alchi, we walk up to the centuries old monastery to view the beautiful frescoes and woodcarvings. Drive back 60 km to Leh. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 6

Departure From Leh

06,00 hrs. Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
