Halcyon Castle

Halcyon Castle is a famous castle located in Kerala. It was constructed by the Maharajah of Travancore, Rama Varma Valiya Koil, in the year 1932. This palace is also known by the name of Kovalam Palace and the purpose behind its construction was to present it as a summer retreat to his beautiful queen, Sethu Lakshmi. In 1964, it was sold to the government of Kerala and at present, it serves as a renowned hotel in Kerala managed by Ravi Pillai Group.
