Arrive at Cochin airport / railway station / bus stand, meet our representative and proceed to Munnar (115 km, ~4 hrs). En route visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls and the spice plantations; Adventure Park & jeep safari are optional (own cost, reach before 3 PM). Check in at Munnar and rest after the journey.

After breakfast, cover Munnar’s highlights: Tea Museum, Rose Garden, Botanical Garden, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Echo Point, Blossom Park and Eravikulam National Park (closed Feb–Apr during the goat breeding season). Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady (92 km, ~3 hrs), exploring cardamom trees, spice plantation, a church and an Ayurvedic garden en route. On arrival visit the Periyar Tiger Reserve and Periyar Lake — lake boating available at extra charges. Overnight at Thekkady.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey (140 km, ~3.5 hrs). Board your sharing deluxe houseboat at 12:30 PM for 21 pleasing hours: endless paddy fields, mesmerising backwaters, unsullied villages, lined coconut trees and the great Vembanad. Lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner on board. Overnight on the houseboat.
