Chilika Lake is a famous water body in the Indian state of Odisha. This lake flows through the districts of Puri, Ganjam, and Khurda. The best for visiting Chilika Lake is during the period between September-February. It is the duration when the various migratory birds can be spotted easily. Visitors can also spot the Irrawaddy Dolphins.
However, it is recommended that a visit during summer months should be avoided.
