Morning drive from Chandigarh to Shimla, on arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure time and visit mall road and shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
The town Shimla built in the nineteenth century when the Gurkha Wars came to an end. In 1864 the Viceroy, John Lawrence anointed Shimla, as the summer capital of British India. With Lawrence came the Viceroy Council, the Imperial Secretariat, representatives of the Indian princes and foreign envoys. As the town grew to become the workshop of the Empire, an reverential visitor observed, every pigeonhole cradled an embryo of a war or death. Despite the fact that up to the time of Indian independence in 1947, Shimla officially remained only the summer capital, yet the Government spent more time in these hills.

Day 3 will be another fun-filled ride as you leave for Manali. This hill station is perfect for adventure activities. On arrival, check in at the hotel and take some to relax.

On day 4 of your Shimla Manali family trip, it is time to begin your excursion to the famous Hadimba Devi Temple once you are done with your breakfast. This temple worships Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. After spending some time here, head to the Vashisht Kund, Tibetan Monastery, and handicraft center. You can also take a walk around the Vashisht village. Dinner and overnight stay planned in Manali.

On day 5 you will be experiencing the fun and beauty at Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. While Solang Valley is famous for zorbing and paragliding, Rohtang Pass is perfect for snow skiing and skiing. Make your way back to the hotel for dinner and a night's stay in Manali.

On day 8 you will be experiencing the charm of Dalhousie. The route you will be following to reach the destination is filled with greenery and a refreshing vibe. As soon as you reach Dalhousie, check in at the hotel and unwind for the day. Later if you wish to, you can go for an excursion around.

A tour to Chamba and Khajjiar is planned for day 5. These towns lay in proximity to Dalhousie and are blessed with verdant greenery. A wave of fresh air will fill you with positivity as you explore Central Park, Khajjiar Lake, Rang Mahal, Bhuri Singh Museum, and more famous tourist places if time allows.
