Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am where your English Speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip. Drive approximately 135 km to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, an escarpment, Soda Lake and distant volcanic peaks. Expect to see elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys, buffaloes and the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara is an excellent introduction to Tanzanias birdlife with over 400 species recorded including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Lunch and dinner included.

Early breakfast at 05:30 then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for about six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. The crater floor supports a high density of wildlife where you can spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other animals. Visit the Soda Lake area for numerous bird species including flamingos. Large predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals are commonly seen. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry times hosts staggering concentrations of wildlife rivaling well known parks. Expect to see large numbers of zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx as well as predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards. Birdlife is also abundant with species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha to conclude the safari.
