Visit to Maasai Mara National Reserve: Maasai Mara National Reserve, covering 1,510 square Kilometers of preserved savannah wilderness, is a premium tourist destination in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. This is where you find the big five (Elephants, Lions, Rhinos, Buffalo and Leopards) and cheetahs, zebras and hippos, wildebeest, thousands of other herbivores and different species of birds all in the wild. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people where you can visit and learn about Maasai culture. It’s during this season that you get to experience the 8th wonder of the world, Wildebeest migration. Day 1: Early morning pick-up from JKIA (or hotel if already checked in), with designated refresher coffee breaks, designated stops to enjoy and appreciate Kenya’s beautiful scenic landscapes. Check in to the camp of choice, settle in for lunch and now it’s time to rest. Day 2: Early morning game drive, picnic lunch will be served in the wilderness while enjoying sight of rich wildlife in the savanna plains. Get back to camp in good time to freshen up and enjoy bonfire Day 3: Check out from the lodge/camp, there is an option of visiting Maasai village and learn about Maasai culture. Transit back to Nairobi (JKIA)/Hotel
