This 4-day safari explores Amboseli National Park with views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the varied terrain of Tsavo West and Tsavo East. The tour includes airport or hotel pickup in Nairobi, game drives across the three parks, visits to highlights such as Mzima Springs and Aruba Dam, lodge and camp accommodations, meals as specified in the itinerary, and transfer to Mombasa or Malindi at the end of the tour.
You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and given a safari briefing before proceeding to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at the camp you will check in and have lunch. In the afternoon you will depart for a game drive across Amboseli, a park situated southeast of Nairobi with dry ancient lake beds, fragile grassland, acacia woodland and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will return to camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park, a drive of less than three hours. En route you will stop at Mzima Springs to observe hippos and fish in the clear water. On arrival you will check in at Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch and relax at the lodge until 16h00. At 16h00 the driver will pick you up for a two hour afternoon game drive where you can spot wildlife including maneless lions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast you will check out and proceed to Tsavo East National Park with game viewing en route. You will arrive at your lodge early afternoon for a hot lunch and time to relax and enjoy lodge activities. Around 15h00 your guide will pick you up for a game drive to the Aruba Dam. Tsavo East is famous for the historic man eaters of Tsavo and offers extended game drives until late evening. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
On the final day you will be up at sunrise to follow animal trails and continue game viewing. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and proceed to Mombasa or Malindi. You will arrive at your residence, beach hotel or the airport early in the evening. The tour ends with no accommodation included unless additional accommodation is arranged at extra cost and you will be dropped off at the airport if required.
