7 DAYS TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI

Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a professional safari guide and transferred to Arusha National Park for your first safari experience in Tanzania. Arusha National Park is peaceful and known for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, flamingos, waterfalls and views of Mount Meru. You will enjoy a game drive with opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography while experiencing Tanzania landscapes. After the game drive you will be transferred to your hotel for relaxation and overnight stay. Driving times include approximately 1 hour from the airport to Arusha National Park and approximately 45 minutes from Arusha National Park to the hotel.

After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara is scenic and famous for tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, seasonal flamingos, baboons and groundwater forests. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by nature and wildlife. In the late afternoon continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight. Driving times include approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha to Lake Manyara and approximately 40 minutes from Lake Manyara to Karatu.

After early breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands enjoying breathtaking scenery before entering the endless plains of Central Serengeti. An afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti may reveal lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras and many other wildlife species. June is an excellent period for wildlife viewing in Central Serengeti as large herds begin moving across the ecosystem. Driving time from Karatu to Central Serengeti is approximately 4 hours including game viewing en route.

Full-day safari adventure in Central Serengeti with packed lunch. Central Serengeti offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing and is especially rich in predator activity. During the full-day game drive you may witness lion prides, cheetahs hunting, leopards resting in trees, large elephant herds, hippos, hyenas and thousands of wildebeests and zebras. Your experienced safari guide will explore different wildlife areas to maximize the safari experience. Accommodation remains at Moyo Tented Camp in Central Serengeti.

After breakfast enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti continuing to experience the wildlife and landscapes. Later proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend to Karatu for relaxation. Driving time from Central Serengeti to Karatu is approximately 4 hours including game viewing en route. Accommodation is at Manyara Best View Lodge in Karatu.

After early breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is home to the Big Five and offers spectacular scenery. Inside the crater you may spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, flamingos and many other animals. Enjoy picnic lunch at the crater floor surrounded by scenery. After the safari return to your lodge for relaxation. Driving time from Karatu to Ngorongoro gate is approximately 30 minutes and the crater descent and game drive constitutes a full safari activity day.

After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park for the final safari experience. Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and beautiful savannah landscapes with the Tarangire River attracting many animals. After enjoying the final game drive and picnic lunch drive back to Arusha where the safari concludes. Driving times are approximately 2.5 hours from Karatu to Tarangire and approximately 2.5 hours from Tarangire to Arusha.
