What do you need to consider?

Green Season The vast herds of migratory wildebeest make their return to the short-grass plains of the southern Serengeti. Roughly 500,000 of these wildebeest are pregnant females, ready to drop their calves between late January and early March. You will have the exclusive opportunity to stay in a private camp located right in the heart of the southern plains, and with some luck, you will have a front row seat to this amazing spectacle. This safari also visits the central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the award-winning Gibb’s Farm.

Dry Season This dry season safari focuses on the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, as well as both the central and northern Serengeti. The crater and central Serengeti hold immense numbers of resident wildlife, and the northern Serengeti’s Kogakuria/Lamai Wedge will be brimming with migratory activity, as nearly two million grazers arrive in search of green pasture. It is at this time of year when travelers have the best chances of photographing the famed Mara River crossings.

Depending on the season’:
July–Oct → Northern Serengeti (Mara River crossings).
Dec–Mar → Southern Serengeti (calving season).
Apr–Jun → Western Corridor (Grumeti River crossings).
Exceptional predator action (lion, cheetah, leopard) following the herds.
Add on activities are Optional - Optional hot-air balloon safari at dawn with champagne bush breakfast.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Tanzania

  Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Meet & greet by Nuru Expeditions assistant guest experience team and your private guide.Transfer to your Gran Melia Arusha.

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 2 : Tarangire national park

  Early morning start, breakfast at Leisure, and scenic Drive to Tarangire National Park (2.5 hrs).
  Full-day safari with picnic lunch — animal sight viewing, elephants, baobab landscapes, lions, and rare oryx.
  Sunset game drive. Arrival at the camp, Check In rest and relaxation, evening at Leisure.
  Dinner and Overnight at Mpingo Ridge Lodge.
  
  Activities: Game Drives.
  Accomodation: Mpingo Ridge Lodge or Green Land Retreat Lodge.

• Day 3 : Lake Manyara National Park

  A later morning starts with breakfast at Leisure, scenic Short drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Morning game drive — famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippo pools.
  Afternoon cultural stops at Mto wa Mbu village, and Hadzabe people. Late afternoon, arrive at the Lodge, Check In, rest and relax.

• Day 4 : Ngorongoro crater

  Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, “Africa’s Garden of Eden.”
  Game drive spotting Black Rhino, large prides of lions, elephants, and buffalo.
  Picnic lunch at the hippo pool. arrive back at the Gibbs Farm, for relaxation, Spa and rejuvenation by the farm.

  Scenic drive via Olduvai Gorge (archaeological site, optional visit). Afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti (great for leopards, cheetahs, and resident predators).
