8days 7nights Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru N.p - Lake Naivasha - Amboseli N.p

Pick up at 7:30am from City Market Nairobi after safari briefing. Drive north ascending the Great Rift Valley with photographic viewpoints and a stop at Narok town for refueling. Proceed to Maasai Mara arriving around 1:30pm to the camp or lodge. After checking in take lunch and freshen up then go for an introductory evening game viewing drive from 3:30pm. The Maasai Mara features vast savannahs, acacia trees and rich wildlife including the Big 5 and is the extension of the Serengeti with the Mara River famous for the annual wildebeest and zebra crossings in July and August.

Full day game drives in Maasai Mara starting after an early breakfast taken at 6:00am. Explore the rich savannah and rolling hills in search of large herds, predators and a wide variety of wildlife. Picnic bush lunch at the Hippo Pools along the Mara River which is famous for wildebeest migration. Afternoon return to camp for a Maasai Village tour at the Manyatta to learn Maasai culture, dances, fire making, Manyatta construction, traditional medicine and to view and optionally purchase local crafts. Evening is for relaxing at the camp with nature walks, photography, dinner, bonfire and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Another full day of game drives in Maasai Mara with morning and evening drives to maximize wildlife sightings. Continue morning drives after early breakfast to search for predators and diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, black rhinos, cheetahs and various bird species. Picnic lunch inside the park, continue with game viewing and return to camp for dinner and overnight. Evening return to camp by about 6:30pm for dinner and overnight stay at the camp or lodge.

After breakfast at 8:00am check out from rooms at 8:30am and depart Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park with a quick stop over for lunch enroute. Arrive at the Nakuru hotel in the evening, check in, freshen up, take dinner at the hotel and overnight in Nakuru.

Early morning breakfast at 7:00am then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park where park fees are payable and game drives commence. Lake Nakuru is a bird lovers paradise with over 400 bird species including large flocks of greater and lesser flamingos and is home to black and white rhinoceros and many mammals. Game drives explore lake shores, grasslands and forests with opportunities to see rhinos, giraffes, buffalos, zebras and a wide variety of birdlife. After game drives proceed to Naivasha as per itinerary.

After breakfast at 7:00am and check out from rooms at 9:00am proceed to Lake Naivasha. At Lake Naivasha take a boat ride towards Crescent Island where guests can walk among tame wildlife, do guided nature walks and other island activities. Crescent Island offers close wildlife encounters with species such as zebras, giraffes, waterbucks and many birds. Take game drives to around 2:00pm before checking out from the park then drive to Naivasha hotel arriving around 5:00pm to freshen up, take dinner and overnight. After Naivasha activities and briefing depart for Amboseli National Park via Mombasa Road with a quick stop at Emali for snacks or lunch and washroom break, arriving at the Amboseli camp or lodge around 5:30pm, check in, freshen up, dinner and overnight stay.

Full day game drives in Amboseli National Park starting with breakfast at 6:30am. Travel aboard a land cruiser or tour van for morning drives which are productive for spotting predators hunting or feeding and for photographing wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Picnic lunch inside the park then continue with game drives. Check out from the park at around 3:30pm and proceed to the lodge with enroute game drives. Evening at the lodge for swimming or other facilities and dinner at 7:30pm followed by overnight. Bonfire can be prepared on request free of charge.

Final day includes breakfast at 8:00am and check out from camp or lodge at 9:00am. Proceed for morning game drives until 11:30am then check out from the park and drive back to Nairobi with enroute stop overs for health breaks and a self sponsored lunch. Arrive in Nairobi in good time around 4:30pm concluding the safari.
