Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandratal

  Drive to over (Rohtang Pass 3980m) Chandertal Lake (moon Lake) O/N Camp taking time: 5-6 hrs.

  • Hotspots : Rohtang Pass
  • Meals & Drinks : Bearkfast + Lunch = Snacks + Dinner

• Day 2 : Spiti

  Leave to after b/f over Kunzum -La (4551m) enters the first Spiti village Losar (4079) Kibber village (4205m) o/n camp Taking time 4-5 hrs

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast + Lunch + snacks + dinner

• Day 3 : Spiti

  Gradual ascent through a small plateau and alpine pasture. A short distance beyond Gete Village (4400m) climb up for 1 hour, en route you get to see some fossils. Spiti is a living museum for geologists. Step down to the Shilla River, cross it and ascend towards Langza village. Watch out for the beautiful view of Shilla Peak. Camp near the village. Visit the Langza monastery situated above.

• Day 4 : langja to Kumik

  These Langza, Hikkim and Kumik, these three villages are situated at an altitude of 4400m - 4600m. Favorite route for looking for fossils. Easy going up to Hikkim and a horizontal walk to Kumik. Visit Tangyut monastery situated above Kumik. The ruins of the Tangyut monastery can be seen near Hikkim. In 1975 an earthquake had destroyed the monastery. O/N camp near the village.

• Day 5 : Kumik to Dumal

  Gradual ascent to Kaugme. Further trail leads you to Dumal situated on the Lingti Valley. Look at the beautiful view of Lingti Valley, which is 60kms long to north. O/N stay at Dumal.

• Day 6 : Dumal to Lalung

  Steep zigzag descent until reaching a small bridge, cross the bridge and walk along the right bank of Lingti River. Cross a bridge on the Lingti River and then Walk For An Hour Through a dry Gorge To Lalun village. Visit the ancient Sherkhang monastery, which is 1000 years old. Camp near the monastery.

• Day 7 : Lalung to Dankar to Dankar lake

  Easy walking towards Dhankar monastery through alpine meadows. Visit Queen’s palace and Dhankar monastery. Dhankar traditionally was the old capital of Spiti Valley. However monastery is older than Tabo Monastery. 120 young and old monks are receiving religious training. 45 minutes gradual ascent towards the Dhankar Lake. O/N Camp near the lake.
  Disciple and teacher Rinchentsang-po in 9,96 A.D. This complex having nine temple, 23 chortens. The Tabo Gompa, renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images and is often called ” The Ajanta of Himalayas”. Situated on the right of Spiti River, flanked on either side by lofty hills brown and sun burnt. Intrans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo sancitly is next only to Tibet Tholing Gompa. Altitude (3050m)

• Day 8 : Tabo to Pin Valley

  The national reserve forest. Morning short but exciting walk to facing mountain to see the oldest caves on barren mountain to see the oldest caves on barren mountains of Tabo, the inside Lamas in meditation and Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism. Drive to Pin valley a valley amazing green in Spiti. We move up to Kungri Gompa, the old Monastery of Spiti, this is the place of again several in house monks and Buddhist school’s/N/camp.

• Day 9 : Pin Valley to Manali

  Drive back to Manali it road. Taking time 7-8 hrs.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
    Check In/Check out Timings:

   - Business Destination: Standard check in time of 12:00 PM Noon
local time and above.
   - Leisure Destination/ International: Standard Check in time 14:00
PM local time and above.
   - Early check in and late checkout subject to availability and may
be charged extra as per the hotel policy.
   Hotel Policy:

   - Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and
may be chargeable by the hotel.
   - In keeping with our heightened security procedures we request you
to provide your photo-identity proof while checking-in. Indian
Nationals can present any of the following which is mandatory:
Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card. Foreign Nationals are
required to present their passport and valid visa.
   - The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be
denied to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of
identification is not presented at check-in. VIA will not be
responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid
reason.
   - In case of No-show, the entire amount will be charged made
towards the booking
   - Extra-person charges will apply and vary depending on hotel policy.
   - Extra charge will be applicable for change in room category or
upgrade, depending on hotel policy. The inclusion of 'extra bed' with
a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or mattress or a bed roll,
as an extra bed.
   - If the rates does not include the mandatory Gala dinner and other
mandatory inclusions during Christmas, New year and other events,
these charges has to be paid by the guest directly at the hotel.
   - If the guest/travel agent has done a hotel booking
directly/through any other channels then, addition/new booking for the
same hotel/same guest would be purely in the descretion of the
hotelier.
 Via does not own any hotels /resorts and hence is not liable for any
damages or loss arising out of negligence /lapse in service by
hotels/resorts, except for negligence/lapse by the Via's employees or
deficiency in services, attributable to the Via which is within the
control of Via's business operations and services. Any dispute
regarding the service provided by hotel needs to be taken up directly
with such hotels or resort.  The charges are applicable for the above
mentioned length of stay and not beyond that. Any extension of stay
will be charged as per the tariff rates of such hotel or at the
discretion of such hotel.

 In absolutely remote cases and circumstances, if the Hotel where Via
has confirmed the accommodation to Customer, declines the availability
at the time of check-in to the Customer for any reason whatsoever, Via
shall be liable for the following, which is in an all inclusive list
for options/ remedy to be provided by Via to the Customer in such
cases:
   - Open General Terms Of Use
   - In such case where the hotel has declined to provide
accommodation at the time of check in, although Via provided the
confirmation to the Customer, the same has to be brought to the notice
of Via immediately. Via shall not charge any cancellation/ retention
fee. The same would be adjusted towards providing an alternative
accommodation if arranged by Via. In case the customer does his own
arrangements Via would refund the entire charges without any
deduction.
   - To arrange alternate Hotel accommodation in the same
vicinity/location of similar category.
   - Further, if the alternate Hotel accommodation arranged by Via is
at a higher rate; than the original rate so paid by the Customer for
the former Hotel accommodation; Via shall bear the difference of
amount to be paid to the latter Hotel.
   - Travel from the former hotel to the latter shall be arranged by
the Customer himself.
   - Rest of the terms and conditions shall remain same as applicable,
which may differ from hotel to hotel.
