Arrival in Kathmandu at 1,350 m. On arrival there is an airport welcome and private transfer to your hotel. You will meet the trekking team for a briefing, guide introduction and final equipment preparation. This day sets up logistics and final preparations before the drive and trekking stages begin.

Drive west from Kathmandu to Besisahar and continue by shared jeep into the Annapurna region toward Chame. This overland travel moves you from the Kathmandu valley into the main gateway to the higher circuit and establishes access into the trekking route.

Trek from Chame through pine forest and a narrow river valley, passing the dramatic Paungda Danda rock face, arriving at Upper Pisang at about 3,300 m. Upper Pisang offers excellent views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak and provides a clear example of changing landscapes on the circuit.

Follow the scenic upper trail through Ghyaru and Ngawal with broad Annapurna views and Tibetan-influenced villages before reaching Manang. The upper route provides extended mountain panoramas and cultural hill villages en route to the larger settlement of Manang.

Acclimatization day in Manang to help prepare for higher altitudes. Spend a second night in Manang with optional hikes depending on conditions and fitness, including visits to Ice Lake, Gangapurna viewpoint or local monastery routes.

Trek from Manang leaving the main settlement and climb gradually through alpine meadows, juniper and yak grazing country to Yak Kharka at about 4,000 m. This stage continues the ascent into higher alpine terrain and yak grazing areas.

A shorter but important acclimatization day toward the base of Thorong La. Trek to Thorong Phedi or High Camp and overnight according to conditions and the guide's recommendation to prepare for the major pass crossing.

Start early for the major Thorong La Pass crossing at 5,416 m, enjoy panoramic high Himalayan views at the pass, then make the long descent to the sacred site of Muktinath at about 3,760 m. This is the highest and most challenging day of the trek with significant altitude and descent.

Descend by road from Muktinath through Jomsom, Marpha, Kalopani and the Kali Gandaki Valley to Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs. This day is primarily road travel and moving back into lower valley environments with an opportunity to relax in hot springs.

Continue by road through Beni and Kusma to Pokhara. Check into the hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening by the lakeside after completing the mountain trekking section and descending into Pokhara.

Return to Kathmandu by tourist bus. An optional domestic flight is available at extra cost. This day completes the overland return to the capital and reconnection with international travel arrangements as required.

Final departure day or free day in Kathmandu. The scheduled package ends and airport transfer is arranged according to your international flight schedule.
