The 2-Day Muktinath Tour from Pokhara is designed for pilgrims, families, senior travelers and private groups who want to visit one of Nepals most sacred Hindu and Buddhist sites without a multi-day trek. The journey follows the Kali Gandaki Valley by private jeep through Beni, Tatopani, Kalopani, Marpha and Jomsom, with an overnight in Jomsom before an early visit to Muktinath, the 108 sacred water taps and Jwala Mai Temple.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Drive Pokhara To Jomsom

After breakfast leave Pokhara and follow the Kali Gandaki corridor by private jeep through Kusma, Beni, Tatopani, Dana, Rupse Waterfall, Kalopani, Lete, Tukuche and Marpha to reach Jomsom. The drive covers diverse landscapes and traditional villages in the Kali Gandaki Valley with views toward Annapurna and Dhaulagiri when weather is clear. Arrive in Jomsom for an overnight hotel or lodge stay. Driving time is normally about 6-7 hours but can vary with road and weather conditions.

Day 2 Jomsom To Muktinath To Pokhara

Start early and drive from Jomsom through the distinctive Lower Mustang landscape toward Muktinath. Participate in darshan and puja at Muktinath, visit the 108 Mukti Dhara water taps and the Jwala Mai Temple experiencing Hindu and Buddhist spiritual traditions. After the visit begin the long return drive through Jomsom and down the Kali Gandaki Valley back to Pokhara, completing the private jeep pilgrimage.
