    In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight.     The Absolute Best Team on Kilimanjaro A group of 4 climbers from India, along with 3 friends from the UK, completed an arduous climb via the 7-day Machame Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and they exceeded our every expectation along the way. The first impression we had of Aardvark Expeditions (Philemon Joel) was one of speed in responding to our requests, providing clear directions, and making truthful declarations about what to expect when we booked. Booking our climb was made easy due to the assistance provided by the sales team. During the actual climb, the guiding team of Bariki and Jonathan performed exceptionally well. They were vigilant in their monitoring of climbers, supported us when altitude sickness hit, and continuously provided motivation throughout our trek on the mountain.     Each day of the trip is a different experience. The tranquil environment of Tarangire, the birds and baboons of Manyara, the big cats of Serengeti - all are worth seeing. I was thrilled to see the gonus running in front of the crocodiles of the Grumeti River. At the end is the Ngorongoro Crater - a huge natural theater.     I and a few of my university friends took part in this 7-day tour, and the experience was mind-blowing! Going out on a game drive in the morning, I heard the roar of the lions in the savannah as the sun rose, saw the hunting of cheetahs in the afternoon, and sat by the campfire at night and talked under the sky full of them. Lights on Africa arranged everything so nicely for us that we never felt bored or tired. Especially in the Serengeti, seeing the wildebeest migration in front of the eyes - that roar, that tremor, that race - still rings in the ears. The guide was lively and knew where to go to get the best view. It wasn't just the safari; it was pure adventure, pure fun for us.
