    This tour starts from Lake Manyara, where on the very first day we get to see the tree climbing lion. The lion is sitting on the branch of the tree - I have read about this scene, but it is a very different feeling to see it from the front. The moment of entering the Ngorongoro Crater was breathtaking. As soon as I entered the crater, zebras, buffaloes, elephants around and a black rhino in the distance - everything seemed to be together in nature's own kingdom. The most awaited part was the Serengeti and Mara River Crossing. I waited by the river for hours. Suddenly thousands of wildebeest and zebra started running towards the river. Watching them fight through water, mud and streams was surreal and emotional. The guide of Seven Wonders Safaris has kept us in the right position the whole time and explained every moment.     A life-changing experience indeed! 7 Wonders Safaris was perfect in every respect on this 6-day classic camping safari. The baobab-strewn fields of Tarangire are like a dream - seeing hundreds of elephants heading towards the river in the evening felt like I was inside the documentary. I saw the famous tree-climbing lions at Lake Manyara, resting on acacia trees (our guide was the first to find out!). ). In the boundless wilderness of Serengeti, I saw cheetahs hunting, swarms of millions of wildebeest. Ngorongoro Crater was the end of the epic - rhinos, hippos and flamingos in the same volcanic bowl. Camping was comfortable (hot shower, great bush dinner) Guide Musa's knowledge and humor made it unforgettable. It's worth every penny! ...more

    I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.     We went on this 4-day private safari with our family in April, and it was a truly memorable experience for all of us.
