Day 1 : Mytilene

Upon Arrival in Lesvos, Check-in At Your Hotel.

Day 2 : Mytilene

For this Second Day, We Propose Some Relaxation At the Beach or for the Curious Ones, a Tour to Another Area of the Island. This Could Be By Rental Car or By Joining a Group Tour.

Sigri is Situated in the Western Part of the Island and is 94km Away from Mytilene. It is a Picturesque Fishing Village that Has a Natural Harbor and is Protected By the Islands Nisiopi and Sedousa. Next to the Harbor is the Turkish Fort, Built in 1757 By Suleiman Pasha in Order to Protect the Area from Pirate Raids and Ensure the Movement of Collective Goods. On the Initiative of Suleiman Pasha, Baths, Schools, Mosques and Aqueducts Were Built in the Area. The Spa is Still in the Area, But in a Ruined State. And the Mosque is Used Since 1928 as a Church.

Sigri Has Global Recognition, Due to the Petrified Forest that is in the Region. It is a Unique Global Nature Monument.

The Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest Was Established in 1994 for Studies, Protection, Maintenance and Promotion of the Petrified Forest of Lesvos, Which is a Listed Natural Monument with International Recognition. The Petrified Forest Was Initiated 15 - 20 Million Years Ago and Has An Area of 150,000 Acres. It Spreads Across the Southwest Region of Lesvos and the Visitor Can Admire Hundreds of Fossilized Logs of Trees and other Conifers. It Became a Worldwide Network of Unesco Geopark (unesco) in 2004.
