Goecha La Trek Tour 12 Days 11 Nights

Pick up from N.J.P and check in to hotel at Yuksom. A distance of 150 km from both N.J.P/Bagdogra, would take an average of 6 hours journey by road.

Through Rathong river, Pha Khola, stiff climb of Bakhim and reach Tsokha after 12 km. The initial trail would be cut through of thick forest. After an approximate of 8 hours, you reach Tsokha and take the first halt. Tsokha Monastery, the breathtaking view of Mt Pandim and Kanchenjunga renge are some of the reason to halt here.

The trek continues towards north passing the villages of Tsokha and through the thick Thododendron forest, crossing Phedang and reach Dzongri after 9 kms - 3 hours of trek.

Acclimatization and explore Dzongri as this it is know for it's best panaromic view of Kanchengunga. 180 degree panaromice view of Singalila and Mt. Kanchenjunga range is visible from this spot.

Continuing towards north passing Prek Chu river and reach Thangsing after 10 kms, 5 hours trek.

The initial phase of the trek is quiet easy, passing the meadow and one can experience the mounts reaching nearer after every passing minute. 4 hours of trek.

Samiti Lake to Goecha La and back to Thangsing - This would take a total of 9 to 10 hours. So, it is best to start as early as 4 a.m.

Thangsing to Tsokha - 8 hours

Tsokha to Yuksom - (Trek ends here) 5 hours

Tour by car to Pelling for sight seeing and Monastic tour

Tour by car to Ravangla(Buddha Park), Rumtek Monastery and reach Gangtok by 3. Explore the city of Gangtok and shop around in the evening.

Pack you bag and head towards N.J.P/Bagdogra for train and flight respectively as required.
