Yuksom is a historical town in Geyzing subdivision of West Sikkim district in the Northeast Indian state of Sikkim. 'Yuksom' literally meaning the 'meeting place of three lamas' is of great historical importance to the Sikkimese. Yuksam was the coronation site of the first monarch of Sikkim and the throne Norbugang is a witness to this event.
Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes.

Guest will be received by our official at NJP railway station / Bagdogra airport, He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Yuksom (150km/5-6hrs). Yuksom is a large village with a total area of 812.16 hectares (2,006.9 acres) situated at an average altitude of 1,780 metres (5,840 ft). On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay.

YUKSOM - PELLING
After breakfast check out and proceed to sightseeing at Buddhist monasteries (Tashiding) and historical monuments as well as ancient Gorkhas small Village, later transfer towards Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2072 meters / 6800 feet (140km/4-5hrs approx) - On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow capped mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Khangchendzonga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchuetc - It is one of the exotic destinations with historical sites, short trek routes and wildlife. After breakfast ready to for Sightseeing, Permits are made one day prior to visit. This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours.Start driving at 0730am from hotel, permit collect from Sikkim Tourism center, Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake & New Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty, Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place – From here you can visit Nathula pass (optional cost-depends on permit) Back to hotel. Evening free to stroll /walk around M G Road or the Local Market. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
