In the morning after breakfast, proceed towards Elephanta caves for a sightseeing tour.
These caves are located on an island that is a few miles away from the Gateway. These caves can be reached by Ferry from the Gateway of India. This rock-cut cave temple is dedicated to lord Shiva.

The Elephanta caves comprise of seven caves of which Mahesh Murti cave is of great importance.
