The itinerary includes private vehicle transfers for 11 days, MAP meal plan with 10 breakfasts and 10 dinners (fixed menu), cultural and heritage visits in Bhuj and Dwarka, Rann of Kutch edge exploration, pilgrimage sites in Dwarka and Somnath, leisure time at Diu, wildlife experiences at Sasan Gir including Devaliya interpretation zone and crocodile breeding farm, and visits to Rajkot and Gandhinagar. Pickup and drop is from Ahmedabad Railway Station or Airport. Distances and approximate travel times between key stops are provided in the daywise itinerary.
Morning pickup from Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station and proceed to Bhuj (260 KM / 5 Hrs). On arrival visit Aina Mahal Museum, Prag Mahal Museum, Bhartiya Sanskriti Darsan Exhibition and the cenotaphs of the royal family. Evening arrival and overnight stay at the hotel with dinner provided as per the MAP meal plan.
Proceed to Shaam-e-Sarhad Resort at Hodka Village to stay in traditional bhungas or eco tents. Enjoy resort experiences including traditional dinners, folk music, bonfire nights and star gazing subject to weather. Overnight stay at the resort with meals as per the plan.
Explore the Banni and Pachcham regions and the edge of the Great Rann of Kutch visiting Dhordo, Bhirandiyara, Ludiya and Khavda villages. Visit Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) and Dattatray Temple to view sunset. Return to the resort and overnight stay with dinner.
Depart Bhuj and proceed to Dwarka (390 KM / 9 Hrs). On arrival visit Dwarkadeesh Temple and then take a local boat to Bet Dwarka. Visit Nageshwar Temple, Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. Overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Full day sightseeing in Dwarka visiting Gomti Ghat and Bet Dwarka via local boat, old Krishna temple on Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Temple, Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. Return to hotel for overnight stay with dinner.
Depart Dwarka and proceed to Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi (Kirti Mandir). Continue to Somnath (approximately 200 KM / 4 Hrs total for the route section indicated) to visit Bhalka Tirth and Somnath Temple. Attend the evening light and sound show at Somnath. Overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Proceed to the beach town of Diu for a day at leisure exploring beaches and local sights. Return to Somnath in the evening and overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Proceed to Sasan Gir (approximately 100 KM / 2 Hrs) home of the Asiatic lion. Visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya, the crocodile breeding farm and Gir Information Centre. Attend an evening lion documentary screening. Overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Proceed to Rajkot (approximately 170 KM / 4 Hrs). Visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo (Gandhi Smriti museum), Prem Mandir, Nyari Dam, Lal Pari Lake, Ramakrishna Ashram, Swaminarayan Temple and Shri Ranchhodas Ashram. Overnight stay at the hotel with dinner.
Proceed to Ahmedabad via Gandhinagar (combined route approx 225 KM / 4 Hrs indicated for Rajkot to Ahmedabad). Visit Gandhi Ashram, Akshardham Temple and Adalaj Step Well on arrival in Ahmedabad. Overnight stay at the hotel (breakfast included as per meal plan).
Check out from the hotel and visit local Ahmedabad sights including Kankaria Lake, Hathi Singh Temple and Swaminarayan Temple. Depart for Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station for onward journey. Breakfast included as per meal plan.
