The tour starts with arrival at Jammu and transfer to Srinagar with a traditional houseboat stay on Dal Lake and an evening shikara ride through the lakes floating gardens and markets. The itinerary includes local sightseeing in Srinagar including Mughal Gardens and Shankaracharya Temple, excursions to Yusmarg, Sonamarg (horse riding to Thajiwas Glacier, sledge riding), Gulmarg (ski slopes, Gondola ride to Khilanmarg, pony rides) and Pahalgam via saffron fields and Awantipora ruins with visits to Chandanwari, Aru or Betaab Valley. Arrival at Jammu where you will be met by the representative and driven to Srinagar. On arrival check into a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake offering intricately carved cedar wood interiors floating on water.
