Guests are chauffeured in an executive 4x4 safari Land Cruiser (or transferred via Akagera Aviation helicopter) northwest through rolling terraced hills to a premier eco-lodge—such as Singita Kwitonda & Kataza House, One&Only Gorilla's Nest, or Wilderness Bisate. On Day 2, following an early briefing at the Kinigi park headquarters, guests embark on a guided trek into the misty bamboo forest alongside dedicated trackers, spending one hour observing a habituated gorilla family. Day 3 offers leisure time or an optional second activity before returning to Kigali for evening onward flights.
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will board a private helicopter and fly on a scenic 30 minutes flight to Musanze, home of the Mountain Gorillas, golden Monkeys and hikes. Alternatively if you’re already in Kigali you will be picked up from your Hotel and fly to Kinigi. Upon landing you will be transferred to your luxurious hotel/lodge for check-in. After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the home of the Mountain Gorillas, the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing the park formalities, embark on a once in a lifetime experience of trekking Mountain Gorillas. Once you spot them, you’re allowed one hour to be with them closely, watch them and experience their daily activities. Return thereafter to your Hotel for Lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you may go for an optional spa treatment at your Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the One & Only Gorilla Nest in Forest King Room
