Serengeti National Park

General Terms & Conditions

Government Taxes and Levies:
The rates above are inclusive of current levies & taxes as of today, however should there be any new statutory taxes introduced and/or increase of any current levies by Government/statutory bodies the same shall be passed on to you
Conservation Fees (Park Entrance Fees) / Accommodation Concession Fees / Camping Fees:
National Parks/Conservation Fees are based on current tariff, should TANAPA OR NCAA OR WMA increase any of their fees the same will be passed on to you.
Single room rate policy for single occupancy:
Serena Hotels: Up to a maximum of 10 single Rooms per group of Guests with the same Reservation Date and departure dates will be provided at the Single Room Rate as specified in the rates above 2 and as confirmed in a Booking Confirmation Voucher.
Any additional single Room requests beyond the maximum allowance set out above will be charged at the Double Room Rate as provided in rates above.
Single Rooming Policy with Tarangire Sopa Lodge:
A maximum of 5 single rooms will be provided per group at a single room rate and balance charged at double/twin room rates
Single Rooming Policy with Tanganyika Wilderness Camps (TWC):
The Single room rate is applicable for the first 3 rooms per booking. Double rate for the rest of the single rooms.
Rooming Policy with TNS Hospitality:
(Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge, Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp & Serengeti Kuhama Camp, TNS Ngorongoro Rim Lodge, TNS Kimarishe Serengeti Lodge)
The Single room rate is applicable for the first 2 rooms per booking. Double rate for the rest of the single rooms.
Elewana Collection:
The first single room in any booking/file will not incur a single room supplement; Any additional single rooms in the same booking/file will be charged at the full single room rate – except when a booking/file contains more than 3 single rooms, any additional single rooms beyond the first 3 single rooms will be charged at the double room rate
Luggage space:
Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles within East Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24"x 17"x 7" are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised).
Re-routing of Itineraries due to limited space availability:
There may be some departures operated on a re-routed version depending on the status given, but reflecting same experience and number of game drives.
Seasonal variations:
Some bookings might straddle between two seasons making the above seasonal quotations on accommodation NOT APPLICABLE. In such cases, supplements / reductions will be applicable for such bookings.
Scheduled Flight Fares and Baggage Allowance:
Scheduled flight fares are current and subject to change. The proposed airline may not be available at the time of booking. You will be informed of the changes on the fares and the airline available for a particular booking. Regional Air luggage allowance is strictly 20 kilos in soft bags per person (inclusive of hand luggage)
Accommodation rates for children sharing with adults:
Child sharing rate is based on the general child policy of the accommodations. For any specific combination of child sharing with adults/children, we kindly ask you to get a quote from us depending on the child age and rooming arrangement.
