Lachen - Lachung Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP/IXB-Gangtok (140kms/4hrs)

  Meet & Greet at NJP/IXB & transfer to Gangtok. Check in hotel and a day free for leisure. At an altitude of 5500ft.Gangtok is the capital town of the state of Sikkim. A small and beautiful town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Gangtok - Lachen (150kms/6hrs)

  After breakfast proceed to Lachen (13,500ft). One can capture the magnificent Kanchendzonga range in its splendor at Singhik, on the way to Lachen. Not only that you can play with waterfalls, like seven sisters water falls.etc. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake (3hrs)

  Early morning by 4.30am start for Gurudongmar Lake. The calm and crystal clear water of the Gurudongmar Lake is largest and probably the highest in Sikkim. This is also one of the sacred lake and many pilgrims visit this place once in a year. After visiting the lake back to hotel, breakfast and transfer to Lachung, overnight stay at Lachung.

• Day 4 : Yumthang Valley & Zero POINT (56km)

  Yumthang, at an elevation of 11,800ft is a paradise for nature lovers with a fascinating blend of flora & fauna and breathtaking scenic grandeur. Yumthang "Tsa-Chu" or the hot spring on the left bank of Lachung Chu is immensely popular for its curative and healing power. Covered with Rhododendron shrubs and trees, the entire valley erupts into a riot of colors in May. A quaint village which has its own unique beauty and lifestyle. After visiting Yumthang Valley & Zero point, back to hotel get refreshed and lunch. After lunch transfer back to Gangtok. Oernight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 5 : Gangtok - NJP/IXB (140km/04hrs)

  After breakfast move back to NJP/ IXB on time for onwards journey.
