  Climbing Mount Kenya was a completely different experience for us. As soon as I started the journey on the Sirimon route, I realized that this trek is not just about climbing the peak, but also about experiencing nature from close quarters. The view of the huge trees, rocky paths and Mackinders Valley is really impressive. While descending through the Chogoria route after seeing the greenery of bamboo, fountains and deep gorge valley I wanted to stop again and again.   I joined a group safari, and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I met new friends from different countries, and we all enjoyed every moment together. Our guide was very kind and made sure everyone was happy. We saw so many animals — lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. It was exciting to see them so close in their natural home. The car was clean and comfortable, and we stopped often for pictures. The hotels and camps were nice and safe. The food was good, and we always had enough water and fruits. Every day was planned so well, from morning game drives to beautiful sunsets. I liked listening to the guide explain about animal life and the local people.   The booking process with Trip Genius Advisory Tours and Safaris was smooth and accommodating, even on short notice. Their guide, Ken, arrived early with a safari pop-up vehicle and took guests to the Giraffe Centre, a local market, and Nairobi National Park for a private 5-hour tour. They saw a wide range of wildlife, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and more. Ken was knowledgeable, respectful of animals, attentive, and helped with photos without being overly talkative. The experience ended with a visit to Carnivore Restaurant.
