  In August, I had the most unforgettable safari experience. From the smooth pickup to the breathtaking game drives, everything flowed so naturally. Our guide’s passion and deep knowledge brought the wild to life.. we spotted the Big Five and countless other animals while learning so much about the land and culture.   I've been on safari many times, but this experience in Hell's Gate National Park was completely different. Where we usually see animals in a jeep, we cycled through chameleon-colored mountains, gurgling gorges, and open nature trails. Zebras and impalas walked side by side - as if they were walking with us! During the boat ride on Lake Naivasha, we saw hippos from close quarters, and the chorus of white herons and mallards seemed to create a strange calm. Lake Nakuru was the final destination of the trip - there were rows of giant flamingos, and we were lucky enough to see two white rhinos.   We booked a 10-day safari including Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. The tour was organized by Elisha, and the planning process went very smoothly. Elisha was incredibly helpful and quick to answer all of our questions (and we had many, as this was our first safari), providing useful information along the way. Our driver, John, was the perfect guide. From the airport pickup to the game drives, where he showcased all his skills in finding and spotting all the animals we were hoping to see. Thanks to John, we were able to see all the Big Five and all the big cats we were looking for. The accommodations were excellent and conveniently located (either within the park or close to the gates). Food exceeded our expectations, including the lunch box provided during full-day game drives. As our first safari experience, we came back home more than satisfied, with countless unforgettable memories. ...more
