  Climbing Mount Kenya was a completely different experience for us. As soon as I started the journey on the Sirimon route, I realized that this trek is not just about climbing the peak, but also about experiencing nature from close quarters. The view of the huge trees, rocky paths and Mackinders Valley is really impressive. While descending through the Chogoria route after seeing the greenery of bamboo, fountains and deep gorge valley I wanted to stop again and again.   In August, I had the most unforgettable safari experience. From the smooth pickup to the breathtaking game drives, everything flowed so naturally. Our guide’s passion and deep knowledge brought the wild to life.. we spotted the Big Five and countless other animals while learning so much about the land and culture.   I had an excellent encounter with them. Every service was provided as agreed upon. There are no problems. I was requested to switch hotels, but I refused and was only assigned to the first one. Accommodations were excellent. Two drivers were present during two segments of the journey. The first driver went above and above to take in the magnificent scenery.   An enjoyable day trip from Nairobi We took a day trip of Nairobi National Park, Giraffe centre and Karen Blixen museum from Safarilinks. The communication with Douglas was prompt, transparent and professional. Our driver and guide Titus was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was raining in the morning and we couldn't see lions because of that, we still saw Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, Crocodiles, Antelopes and lots of birds in their natural habitat.
