Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular and the second largest National park in with its unique bio diversity and vast landscape in Uganda. The park obtained its name from Queen Elizabeth II of England after her visit to Uganda. It was established in 1952 and it covers an area 1,978 km². Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in western Uganda in the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. The park is has about 95 mammals such as Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Elephant, Antelopes, Warthogs, Uganda kobs, Water bucks, Oribi, Topi, Giant forest hog etc. Primates like Chimpanzees, Monkeys and baboon. It is also a home to over 600 bird species such as Marital Eagle, Swamp flycatcher, African jacana, rare saddle-billed stork, grey crowned heron, Black bee-eater etc. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, crater lakes, forested gorges, Savannah plains, swamps and the beautiful Kazinga channel – home to an abundance of wild.
Day 1 of the 3 Days Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park starts with a pick up from Entebbe International Airport or at your Hotel. Our professional driver guide from African Sacred Ibis Adventures will meet and greet you, then brief you about the 3 Days Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stopover at the Equator at Kayabwe. Here, you have water experiments where you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres. Take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs. Continue with the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival you will check in the lodge for Dinner and Overnight Stay.

Day 2 of the Safari will begin with a mouthwatering breakfast thereafter you head out for a morning game drive that will expose you to diverse animals including the Big four—Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, Warthogs, Hyenas, and many more species that are residents to this park. There is a rich birdlife such as Marital Eagles, African fin foot, African skimmer, Lesser Flamingos among others. You will go back to the Lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the Afternoon, you head out for a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you'll see land and water adapted hippos, Elephants, Nile crocodile, Warthog etc. Birds like pelicans, kingfishers, and African fish eagles Dinner and Overnight Stay.

On this final day of the safari, wake up for a heavy breakfast and prepare for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge, you'll go on chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. Trek through the dense forest in search of our closest relatives, the chimpanzees and learn about their behaviors and habitat from experienced guide. After the trek, embark on the drive back to Entebbe International Airport or your lodge with a stopover for lunch.
