    DELHI TO SHIMLA (370 km, 7-8 Hrs.):

    Pick up from Delhi Airport / Railway Station & proceed to Shimla. On the way visit to Pinjore Garden & Barog (If time permits). After arrival in Shimla, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 2

    SHIMLA SIGHTSEEING

    After breakfast proceed for sightseeing:-
    Green Valley: Green Valley situated between Shimla and Kufri; an awesome valley with pine trees offering a breathtaking view of nature.


    Kufri: A world famous hill station offering a panoramic view of the snow clad ranges of the Himalayas.

    Chini Bunglow: Also known as the Kufri Bungalow; it is famous for zoo, species like: musk deer, barking deer, black deer, and leopard cat.
    Viceregal Lodge: Viceregal Lodge, also known as Advance Study is located on the observatory hills one of the seven hills of Shimla. It was the residence of the Viceroy of India during the British raj.

    The Mall & Ridge: In evening visit The Ridge & Mall. Ridge is a large open space, located in the heart of the city. Mall is famous for shopping center & leisure walk. In evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.
    Jakhoo Temple: Located at an altitude of 2455 m. dedicated to Lord Hanuman and believed that the temple holds the footprint of Lord Hanuman. It is an ancient temple in Shimla on the Jakhoo Hill, which offers beautiful view of Shivalik Mountains. In evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

    Hadimba Temple: Visit the famous woodwork in Pagoda style architecture, dedicated to Goddess Hadimba.
    Club House: This place is one of the most favorite attractions in Manali for kids, it has a recreation centre run by HP Tourism.

    Vashisht Bath: It is a natural hot water spring located 3 km from the town. The springs have a medicinal value which cure skin diseases. Many people take a deep bath and get relief from their ailments. In evening visit the local market and return to the hotel for overnight stay.

    DHARAMSHALA TO DALHOUSIE (140 km, 6-7 Hrs.):

    After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing:
    Mcleodganj: It is a suburb of Dharamshala. The place is home to the Dalai Lama and Tibetan government-in-exile.

    Bhagsunag: The place is famous for an 18th Century temple of Lord Shiva situated 2 km from McLeodganj Bazaar. There is breathtaking waterfall at some distance from the temple, one of the major tourist attractions in Dharamshala.
    Church: St. John in the Wilderness is an Anglican church dedicated to John the Baptist built in 1852, located near Dharamshala, India, on the way to McLeod Ganj.

    HPCA Stadium (1,457 m): This cricket stadium is located in Dharamsala is best known internationally as the home of the Dalai Lama. This stadium is unique and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. Arrival in Dalhousie & check into the hotel for overnight stay.

    DALHOUSIE SIGHTSEEING :

    After breakfast proceed for sightseeing:
    Khajjiar: Often called India's Switzerland has a circumference of about 5 km. Surrounded by thick forests of Pine trees, the snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to Khajji Nag.

    Kalatop: It is one of the most pristine destinations in Dalhousie. The place is known for lush green surroundings and snow capped Himalayan peaks.

    Panchpula: One of the famous spots in the region, Panchpula is located 3 km from Dalhousie. The place derives its name from five bridges.
    Local market: Visit the local market (if time permits). In evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

    DALHOUSIE TO AMRITSAR (190 km, 6-7 Hrs.):

    After breakfast proceed to Amritsar. After arrival in Amritsar, check into the hotel. After getting freshen up watch the evening parade at Wagha border (4:30 pm) & Golden Temple.

    Wagha Border: Wagah is the border that lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar in Punjab, India and Lahore in Punjab. The border is at a distance of 20 km from Amritsar and 22 km from Lahore.

    Golden Temple: Sri Harmandir Sahib (The abode of God), also Sri Darbar Sahib (and informally referred to as the "Golden Temple", is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. Amritsar (literally, the tank of nectar of immortality) was founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das. In evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

    AMRITSAR TO DELHI DROPPING (450 km, 11-12 Hrs.):

    Jallianwala Bagh: It is a public garden in Amritsar, and houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 by the Government of India, to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators including unarmed women and children by British occupying forces, on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919.

    Durgiana Temple (if time permits)
    Dropping at Delhi Railway Station / Airport. The trip ends with sweet memories.

  • In case of Group tours, Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala & Dalhousie will not be covered by Bus. Small cabs shall be provided for the same.
  • a) The Mall & Ridge in Shimla are located in sealed portion of the town, hence no vehicle can go there. In case of an accommodation booked there, the client shall be dropped at the lift on the circular road and he shall manage on his own to reach the hotel. Any Porter engaged or Lift charges shall be borne by the client himself at direct payment basis.
  • b) Rohtang Pass visit shall be managed by the guest at his own & the cost shall be borne by the client himself. However, the Company shall try to procure requisite permit from the authorities on first come first serve basis and subject to availability.
  • c) Manikaran sightseeing not included in package cost. Extra charges shall apply as per vehicle suggested.

Dont’s

  • a) Don't stand at the edge of cliff or on the bolder near the bank of river for photographs etc. The current of the river in Himachal Pradesh is very strong.
  • b) Don't leave non - degradable litter behind. Polythene is banned in Himachal under Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act of 1995.
  • c) Don't encourage beggars.
  • d) Smoking is strictly prohibited in public places under Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules, 2008.
  • e) Don't eat anything offered by strangers during travel.
  • f) Don't get hared into shopping or sightseeing tours by touts or strangers. Let the Department of Tourism or your hotel help you.
  • g) Don't buy articles made from rare or endangered species or animals.
  • h) Don't disfigure or scribble on rocks, trees, building etc.
  • i) Do not leave your cash and valuables in your hotel rooms. Keep your cash divided in different pockets.
  • j) Don't trust strangers, trust your travel agency or hotel in case of advice.
  • k) Do not carry any prohibited substance covered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

  • f) Before undertaking adventure activities such as trekking, rafting, paragliding, etc. local authorities such as SDM, Police, Tourist Offices etc. should be informed in advance and permission may be taken in advance wherever require.
  • g) Engage only trained & certified professionals to undertake any adventure related activity
  • h) Light woolens are recommended round the year in hills. However, one should carry Jackets & other woolen items in winters
