Day 1 : Arrive Kolkata
Arrive Kolkata and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Kolkata - Guwahati (By Flight) - Kaziranga National Park
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Upon arrival, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 195Kms / 05 hours). Kaziranga national park which is mainly famous for Indian one Horned Rhinoceros. Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, with covering an area of approximately 430-sq-kms, with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass, making Kaziranga National Park the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.
Upon arrival check-in at the resort/ Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon Jeep safari to the National park for wildlife viewing and also visit the tea gardens and rubber plantations. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 3 : Kaziranga National Park
Today will awake a little early with a wake call, half an hour before we will head for our morning elephant safari (05:30 am to 06:30 am) to the national park for wildlife viewing. Return back to resort/Camp for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return to camp for lunch and later go on a jeep safari to the national park (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa). Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Apart from the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions include a large population of Indian Elephants, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 4 : Kaziranga National Park
Today after breakfast, continue with our wild safari with Kaziranga on the consecutive day to explore the more wildlife. We will be doing the jungle safari as per the very previous day. We will enter twice to the national park visiting either central or western range first. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 5 : Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati - New Jalpaiguri (By Train)
Today after leisure breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. Upon arrival visit the city and explore the local bazaar. In evening transfer to the railway station to board train for New Jalpaiguri. Overnight on the board.
Day 6 : New Jalpaiguri - Jaldapara National Park
In the morning arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway station and drive to Jaldapara National Park (approx. 130Kms / 04 hours). Upon arrival check-in at the resort/ Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon is free for leisure walks around the resort. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 7 : Jaldapara National Park
Today morning we will awake a little early and will move to Elephant riding point to enjoy a thrilling elephant safari in Jaldapara national park for wildlife viewing. Later return to the resort for breakfast.
Post breakfast enjoy the atmosphere and the glimpse of nature around the wildlife resort.
Afternoon will again go to visit the National Park. This time we will enjoy our jeep safari to the national park to explore its exquisite beauty of the vast grassland. The National park is well famous for the Indian one one-horned rhinoceros and holds the highest rhino population in India after Kaziranga National Park. The other fauna found in Jaldapara are tigers, elephants, deers, sambar wild pig and bison and a number of avifauna are also found in Jaldapara. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 8 : Jaldapara National Park
This morning we will again enjoy jeep safari to explore the Jaldapara national park and later return to the resort for breakfast. After lunch we will have an excursion to the Totopara village, situated 22 km from Madarihat, which is the entry point to Jaldapara. This small village is located on the bank of River Torsa and housed by Toto tribe. Toto are the primitive tribe in Dooars. Later return to resort for overnight.
Day 9 : Jaldapara National Park - Gangtok
Morning after breakfast drive to Gangtok (approx. 200Kms / 05 hours) which is capital of Sikkim, Gangtok. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and later sightseeing tour of city visiting the Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Do-dul-Chorten and Flower Exhibition Centre. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Gangtok
Today we start our day an early with a hill drive to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft.) which is located 40kms from Gangtok. This lake is considered sacred by the local people. If possible we will visit to Baba Harbhajan Singh temple, which will be further 16kms from the lake.
Later return to the hotel. Evening is free for individual activities or relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Gangtok - Darjeeling
Morning after breakfast drive to Darjeeling (approx. 110Kms / 04 hours) and enjoying the hill drive crossing numerous hill gardens.
Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon is free for leisure walks or explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Darjeeling
Today very early in the morning around 3.30am will drive to visit the Tiger hill (it is the sunrise point over Mt. Khangchendzonga), the glimpse of sunrise from here will give you a different charm. Further we will return to city and on the way back we will visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop.
Post breakfast we will go on sightseeing tour of Darjeeling which includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday) and various Tea estate. Late afternoon is free for leisure walks or explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Kolkata (By Flight)
Morning after breakfast drive directly to Bagdogra airport (approx. 80Kms / 03 ½ hours) to board flight for Kolkata.
Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free to explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 : Kolkata - Kathmandu (By Flight)
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and later proceed for an excursion to Bhatgoan (also called Bhaktapur, the City of Devotees) and Patan, "City of Grace and Fine Arts”, it is a center of medieval art and architecture. The legendary city of Bhatgaon was founded by King Ananda Deva in 889 AD and is shaped like a conch-shell. Pottery and weaving are its traditional industries. In Patan you will be able to see Patan’s interesting and beautiful pieces of art and architecture, also visit the Tibetan Refugee Craft Center. Evening is free to explore the local market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 : Kathmandu
This morning we have arranged a walking tour visiting the bazaar and the Durbar Square area, the centre of old Kathmandu. Much of the day to day life of Kathmandu takes place in the bazaar: a fascinating mixture of people selling fruit, vegetables and spices; potters spinning their wheels to produce small household bowls and containers for temple offerings; devotees visiting their favorite gods at temples and small shrines dotted along the sides of alleyways; rickshaw wallahs honking their horns and the ever present sacred cow wandering amongst it all. In the afternoon we plan to visit the Temple of Pashupatinath on the banks of the Bagmati River, the holiest Hindu shrine in Nepal and also Bodnath, the largest stupa in the country and a destination for Buddhist pilgrims from all over Nepal. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16 : Kathmandu - Chitwan National Park
Morning after breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park (approx. 170Kms / 05 hours) which is famous for the Rhinos and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Situated in the foothills of Churia ranges is the first national park of Nepal. About 56 species of mammals are found in here including the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, rhesus monkey, langur, deer, leopard, gaur, wild boar and wild cat and about 49 species of amphibians and reptiles are found in Chitwan national park including the endangered long snouted gharial, marsh mugger crocodile and python.
The Chitwan National Park is also very rich in avian life and about 539 species of birds have been recorded here. Some of these are the summer migrant birds like paradise flycatcher, Indian pitta and parakeets etc. and winter birds include waterfowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails and migratory birds from Siberia etc.
Upon arrival check-in at the resort and evening is free for relaxation. Overnight at the resort.
Day 17 : Chitwan National Park
Today we will enjoy our full day wildlife activities in National park. During our Jungle activities in Chitwan we will be enjoying Jeep safaris, Elephant safaris and boat ride which provide an excellent opportunities for birding and a great chance to see deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, sloth bear, gaur and many other smaller mammals.
In the evening enjoy the tribal dance with bonfire offered by the resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day 18 : Chitwan National Park - Kathmandu
Today morning after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu city. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Walking along the street you will see many interesting places. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19 : Depart Kathmandu
Morning after breakfast, day is at leisure. In time transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
