For those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature that this national park boasts of, then months after monsoon, i.e., November to February are recommended.

How To Reach Bandipur

Bandipur is easily accessible by all the means; be it road, rail or air. If you are travelling by air, then the nearest airport is Bangalore, after which you can either take a private cab or can take any of the local transportation to reach this national park. The nearest railway station for those travelling by the train is Mysore. It has a seamless connectivity via the road where a number of state transportation services are easily available.

Ticket And Timings

The ticket price for Bandipur is Rs. 300 per head for Indians and Rs. 1,100 per head for foreigners. You also get to enjoy jungle safari that is included in this ticket price. The duration of this safari is 45 minutes. The timing for the first trip is from 6:00 am to 9:00am and for the second trip is 4:00pm to 6:00pm. If you are planning to take a camcorder with you then there would be an extra charge of Rs. 200.
