Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization is must for rest of the day to avoid high altitude sickness. You will feel the elevation as it’s a big jump from sea-level to 3500 meters, and it will take your body a few days to adjust to this altitude. It’s very important to drink plenty of water, and to not over-exert yourself while wandering around Leh. Even walking up the stairs of the hotel will make you breathless for the first day or two. After breakfast, full day excursion to various Monastaries/Gompas in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastry (19 Kms) and from there drive to Shey Monastry. After that, drive further to visit Hemis Monastry (40 Kms from Leh). Hemis Monastry is one of the famous Monastries and is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Back to Leh in the evening. En route, visit Stok Palace and Museum. Overnight stay at Leh.

Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed for Nubra Valley (200 Kms). En route visit “Khardungla Pass” (18360 ft.) which is the world’s highest motorable road. Check into the Hotel/Camp. Visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You may also enjoy ride on double humped camels at this place. Visit Deskit Gompa in the evening. Overnight at Nubra.

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the Hotel/Camp & proceed for Leh. Check into the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame and other famous local destinations. Visit Leh market in the evening. Overnight stay at Leh.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive to Alchi (70 Kms). Visit Alchi Monastry which is dating from thousand years back. Enroute visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Magnetic Hill which defy the law of gravity. When a vehicle is parked in neutral gear on the road of this hill, it starts sliding up. See the confluence of Zanskar and Indus river on the way. Check into the Hotel/Camp. Visit Likir Monastery and back to Alchi. Overnight stay at Alchi.

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Lamayuru which is famous for its ancient monastery and the surrounding landscape that closely resembles with the surface of moon. This is where Ladakh gets its name ‘The Moonland’. In the afternoon, check out from the Hotel/Camp. Visit Rizong Monastery & Chulichan Nunnery and drive back to Leh. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Pangong Lake (210 Kms). En route visit Changla Pass which is third highest road in the world at a height of 17350 ft. Pangong Lake is located at an altitude of 14500 ft. Check into the Camp. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of pangong while appreciating the changing colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Back to Leh in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
