Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Varanasi | Northern Bazaar Walk & Evening Aarti

Arrival: Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, meet our representative for a warm welcome and transfer to your hotel.

Northern Bazaar Walk: In the late afternoon (around 4:00 PM), set out on the Northern Bazaar Walk, exploring Kachori Gali (food street), Thatheri Bazaar, perfumed alleys, flower markets, and the sacred Manikarnika Ghat.

Evening Aarti: Head to a reserved private balcony at Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Observe priests performing rituals with fire, chants, and incense as the river shimmers with devotion. Return to the hotel by 8:30 PM for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Sunrise Boat Ride | Temple Visits & Sarnath Excursion

Archaeological Museum

Sunrise Boat Ride: Begin early (05:00 AM) with a private hand-rowed boat ride from Dashashwamedh to Manikarnika Ghat. Witness the ghats bathed in golden light as life awakens along the Ganges.

Temple Visits: Visit Birla Temple at BHU, Tulsi Manas Temple, and Mother India Temple. Return to your hotel for breakfast and relaxation.

Sarnath Excursion: In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, monastery ruins, Buddha Temple, large Buddha statue, Archaeological Museum, and Deer Park. Return to Varanasi for overnight stay.

Varanasi to Bodhgaya | Buddhist Heritage

Gaya Archaeological Museum

Drive to Bodhgaya: After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya (approx. 250 km / 5 hrs).

Sightseeing: Visit Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), Animesh Lochana Chaitya, the Great Buddha Statue, Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Archaeological Museum, Sujata Village, and Dungeshwari Caves. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Bodhgaya – Excursion to Rajgir & Nalanda | Drive to Patna

Rajgir & Nalanda Excursion: Depart for Patna after breakfast, stopping at Rajgir to explore the Cyclopean Wall, Venu Vana Park, and Buddhist sites. Continue to Nalanda to wander the ruins of the ancient university.

Arrival in Patna: Reach Patna by evening, check into your hotel, and relax.

Overnight Stay: Patna.

Patna City Tour

Patna Sahib Patna Museum

City Sightseeing: After breakfast, visit Golghar, Patna Museum, and Gandhi Maidan. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Bihar Museum & Gurudwara: Explore Bihar Museum, then visit Takht Sri Patna Sahib Gurudwara, the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Evening: Conclude at Gandhi Ghat on the Ganges for the evening aarti. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Patna to Kushinagar | Sacred Sites

Sacred Sightseeing: Visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (6.1-meter reclining Buddha), Ramabhar Stupa, and Kushinagar Museum showcasing Buddhist relics. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

Kushinagar to Lumbini (Nepal) | Departure

Drive to Lumbini: After breakfast, drive to Lumbini, Nepal (approx. 130 km / 3–4 hrs), the birthplace of Buddha.

Sacred Sites: Visit the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and Lumbini Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (own expense).

Departure: Later, transfer to Kushinagar airport or railway station for onward journey.
