Venu Vana

Venu Vana is one of the famous travel destinations in Bihar. Located in Rajgir, it stands as a beautiful sacred place for the Buddhists. Venu Vana is a replica of a bamboo forest where Lord Buddha used to meditate and interact with his followers. King Bimbisara, the founder of Haryanka Dynasty, built this place as a tribute to Lord Buddha.

After Buddha left for the heavenly abode, many monks began visiting this place for meditation. Venu Vana, at present, displays the preaching of Buddha and his meeting with king Bimbisara.
