Arrival at Dibrugarh Airport /Dibrugarh Railway Station/New Tinsukia Railway Station and transfer to Roing (aprox 145 KM – 4-5 hrs drive) in Arunachal Pradesh). After breakfast drive to Aalo enroute , visit Dambuk, Pasighat (approx 200 Km / 5.5 hrs drive). Across the Brahmaputra River, locally known as Siang River and a boat ride away is Mebo, the granary of the Siang the River. You also visit Padam village and further on to Aohahi village of Idu Mishmi tribes. On way stop over at Pasighat /Yombom for Lunch. Later you will proceed to Aalo. Check In Hotel/Home stay. Aalo, formerly Along, is a census town and headquarter of the West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh.It is located about a day’s drive 160 kilometres from Likabai, which is at the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

After breakfast you explore local Aalo town and later drive to Mechuka enroute waterfalls. On the way a brief stopover to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of Siko-Dido waterfalls and after lunch continue your journey to Mechuka. On reaching Mechuka, check in at Home Stay. You can have evening stroll at the town at enjoy the spectacular beauty. At dinner you enjoy local cuisine and beer at Home stay before retiring for the night. Mechuka is a small town nestled 6,000 feet (1,829 m) above sea level in the Mechuka Valley in Shi-Yomi District. After Mechuka the McMohan border separates Indian territory and Chinese territory. Mechukha is gradually becoming a popular tourist destination in Arunachal Pradesh due to its scenic beauty, exotic tribes, gentle hills and snow-capped mountains and River Siyom (locally known as Yargyap Chu). The Siom River, which flows through Mechukha also provides a scenic view in the valley. The major tourist attraction here is a 400-year-old Buddhist Monastery, which is located at a hilltop in the westernmost part of Mechukha. Numerous ancient statues can also be found here. Accommodations are available at Tourist lodges and Inspection Bungalow and a few hotels are also coming up to meet the increasing influx of tourists from the country and abroad. The people of Adi tribe have resided in the Menchukha valley since time immemorial in the periphery of Mechuka valley in the villages of Gapo, Pauk, Padusa, Lipusi, Hiri, Purying, Rapum, Charung, Rego and Kart gumjipang, barang gang, shorang dhem, etc.

We discover more of the ‘Pasis’ or the Adi Villages. These aboriginal tribes are famous for their bamboo works.
