Day 1

Day 1 – Guwahati to Nameri | Arrival & Transfer (240 km / 5 hrs)

Nameri National Park

Receive a warm welcome at Guwahati. Enjoy a scenic drive to Nameri, check in to your hotel, and relax for the overnight stay.
Day 2

Day 2: Nameri Wildlife & River Activities → Dirang (160 km / 6 hrs)

Nameri National Park Dirang Dzong

Morning bird‑watching at Nameri National Park – home to over 300 species including the rare White‑winged Duck. Optional river rafting on Jia Borali. Post lunch, drive to Dirang, crossing lush valleys and waterfalls. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 3

Day 3: Dirang Exploration → Tawang via Sela Pass (145 km / 7 hrs)

Dirang DzongTawang Hills

Visit Dirang Monastery, Dirang Dzong, local kiwi orchards and later drive to Tawang, crossing the dramatic Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Nuranang / Bong Bong Waterfall. Relax overnight in Tawang.

Day 5: Tawang Excursion – Shonga‑tser & Bum La (150 km / 7 hrs)

Shonga-tser Lake

Visit the stunning Shonga‑tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), near the India–China border at Bum La Pass (15,200 ft). En route, explore enchanting glacial lakes like PTSO, Naghula, and Heart Lake. Return for an overnight stay in Tawang.

Bomdila Monastery
