  • Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

    Today You Arrive At the Airport. Our Representative Shall Meet You and Transfer You to Hotel for Check-in.

    delhi - It is a Bustling Metropolis, Which Successfully Combines in Its Folds the Ancient with Modern. Its Strategic Location Was the Prime Reason Why Successive Dynasties Chose It as Their Seat of Power. It is Believed that the City of Indraprastha, from the Times of the Hindu Epic Mahabharata, Founded Around 5000 Bc, is also Buried Here. Numerous Monuments Were Built Over Several Centuries By Different Rulers like Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaks, Lodhis, Humayun & Shah Jahan.

    later in First Half of 20th Century Much of New Delhi Was Planned By Sir Edwin Lutyens, Who Laid Out a Grandiose Central Administrative Area as a Testament to British Rule in India. the Division in Old Delhi & New Delhi also Marks the Division in Life Styles.

    today We Take a Tour of Old Delhi, the 17th Century "walled City of Shah Jahanabad", Built By the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and Do the Following :

    visit the Great Jama Masjid - It is the Principal Mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the Year 1656 Ad By the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, It is the Largest & Best Known Mosque in India.walk Down or Take a Rickshaw Ride Through Chandi Chowk, the Old Marketplace of Shah Jahanabad & Now a Picturesque Bazaar, to Reach Red Fort.

    visit Red Fort - this Fort Built By Emperor Shah Jahan in the Year 1648. the Fort Remains An Impressive Testimony to Mughal Grandeur, Despite Being Attacked By the Persian Emperor Nadir Shah in the Year 1739 and By the British Soldiers During the Indian Mutiny (first War of Independence) in the Year 1857.

    later We Take a Guided Tour of New Delhi and Do the Following :

    visit Raj Ghat - It is a Memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Who Was Assassinated On 30th January 1948. It is a Simple Black Marble Platform that Marks the Spot of His Cremation.

    drive Past India Gate - It is a Memorial Built in the Year 1931 to Commemorate the Indian Soldiers Who Died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. the Names of the Soldiers Who Died in These Wars are Inscribed On Its Walls.

    drive Past President's House - It is the Official Residence of the President of India, Built in the Year 1931. Until 1950 It Was Known as Viceroy's House & Served as the Residence of the Governor-general of British India.

    visit Humayun's Tomb - a Memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, Built in the Year 1562. the Complex is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Its Plan, Based On the Description of Islamic Paradise Gardens, is Known to have Inspired the Taj Mahal and Many Later Mughal Tombs & the First Example of this Type of Mughal Architecture in India.

    visit Qutub Minar - It Was Built in the Year 1206 By Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the Tallest (72 M) Brick Minaret in the World, An Important Example of Indo-islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & Its Monuments are Listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.

  • Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur (260 Km/06 Hr)

    Today We Drive to Jaipur and Check-in the Hotel.

    jaipur - this City is Popularly Known as Pink City, the Flamboyant & Colourful Capital of Rajasthan. with Its Rich & Colourful Past, Resplendent with Tales of Valour & Bravery, It is Now One of the Most Important Heritage Cities in India. the City Was Founded in the Year 1728 By Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh Ii, the Ruler of Amber. It Remains the Only City in the World Symbolizing the Nine Divisions of the Universe, Through Nine Rectangular Sectors.

    optional - (at Extra Cost) An Evening Excursion to Chokhi Dhaani Complex - It is the Ethnic Village Resort Located At a Distance of 15 Km from Jaipur. Rajasthani Village Atmosphere is Recreated On the Sprawling Ground & Includes the Entertainment By Folk Dancers & Musicians. Later Drive Back to Hotel.

    Today we take a tour of Jaipur and do the following :

    Visit Amber Fort-Palace - This fort is situated in picturesque and rugged hills. It is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture constructed by Raja Man Singh and completed by Sawai Jai Singh I, The fort is made of red sand stone and white marble. The rugged forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise with a beautiful fusion of art and architecture. Amber is the classic and romantic fort- palace with a magnificent aura. We take an Elephant ride to reach the Fort-Palace situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience.

    Visit the City Palace - This Palace is a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. In the centre of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city.

    Visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory) - an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date.

    Visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - It is a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (Mini-windows).

  • Day 5 : Jaipur - Agra (via Fatehpur Sikri) (232 Km/05 Hr)

    en Route We Visit Fatehpur Sikri - It Was the Capital of Mughal Empire in India During Akbar's Reign from the Year 1571 Until 1585, When It Was Abandoned, Ostensibly Due to Lack of Water. Here We Shall Visit Emperor Akbar's Residential Complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti.it is also Unesco World Heritage Site.
    we Continue Our Drive to Agra and Check-in the Hotel

    agra is Beautifully Situated On the Banks of River Yamuna. It Achieved Prominence as the Capital of the Mughal Emperors from the Year 1526 to 1628, Remains Major Tourist Destination Because of Its Many Splendid Mughal-era Monuments, Most Notably the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World & Unesco World Heritage Site), Agra Fort (unesco World Heritage Site) & Fatehpur Sikri (unesco World Heritage Site).

    Today we take a tour of Agra and do the following :

    Visit Taj Mahal (One of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World & UNESCO World Heritage Site) - It is a symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years.

    Visit Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - This fort was taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decoration.

  • Day 7 : Agra - Jhansi (Train) - Khajuraho (Via Orchha) (175 Km/4 Hr)

    Today You Check-out from the Hotel and We Shall Transfer You to Railway Station for Train to Jhansi. (train Detail : Shatabdi Express 0817hr/1048 Hr) Upon Arrival At Jhansi, Our Representative Shall Meet You and Drive to Khajuraho.

    half Day Tour/activity : (2nd Half)

    en-route We Visit Orchha : the Beautiful Medieval Town of Orchha Was Once the Capital of the Bundela Kings. Built Along the Banks of the River Betwa, Flowing Through a Rugged Countryside, It Still Retains the Captivating Air of a Bygone Era. Evening is Free for Independent Activities.

    in Orchha We Do the Following :

    visit Royal Cenotaphs - There are Fourteen Chatrries or Memorials to the Rulers of Orchha Grouped Along the Kanchan Ghat of the River Betwa.the 14 Chattries Were Constructed as a Mark of Respect for the Imperial Blue Blood of the Mighty Rulers of Bundelkhand Dynasty. Build in Indo-mughal Style, These Three Storey Buildings are Open to all Sides and have Nicely Designed Tops - Domes or Pinnacles. Most of the Cenotaph is in a Single Compound with Similar Plans, Except the Ones Seen On the Extreme Left. this One is Build in Memory of King Bir Singh Deo (1605-27) Whose Rule is Considered as the Golden Age of Orchha.

    visit Jahangir Mahal - the Establishment of the Jehangir Mahal Dates Back to the 17th Century A.d. When the Then Ruler of the Region Named Bir Singh Deo Built the Structure as a Symbol of Warm Reception of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, During the Jahangir's First Visit to the City. the Entrance of the Jehangir Mahal, Orchha is Marked By An Artistic and Traditional Gateway. the Front Wall of the Structure Faces to the East and is Covered with Turquoise Tiles. Jehangir Mahal is a Three Storied Structure that is Marked By Stylishly Hanging Balconies, Porches, and Apartments. like other Palaces in Orchha the Jehangir Mahal, Orchha Has and a Number of Domes that are Shaped like Onion. These Domes Cover the Central Courtyard of the Palace. Thus Without Visiting the Jehangir Mahal as Well as other Monuments in Orchha, the Tour to Orchha is Incomplete.
    later We Continue Our Drive to Khajuraho and Check-in the Hotel.

    khajuraho - Khajuraho is a Town in the Indian State of Madhya Pradesh, Located in Chhatarpur District. One of the Most Popular Tourist Destinations in India, Khajuraho Has the Largest Group of Medieval Hindu and Jain Temples, Famous for Their Erotic Sculpture. the Khajuraho Group of Monuments Has Been Listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, and is Considered to Be One of the "seven Wonders" of India.
    the Temples are Grouped Into Three Geographical Divisions : Western, Eastern and Southern.

    the Khajuraho Temples are Made of Sandstone. the Builders Didn't Use Mortar : the Stones Were Put Together with Mortise and Tenon Joints and They Were Held in Place By Gravity. this Form of Construction Requires Very Precise Joints. the Columns and Architraves Were Built with Megaliths that Weighed Up to 20 Tons. These Temples of Khajuraho have Sculptures that Look Very Realistic and are Studied Even Today.

    Visit Eastern Group of Temples - The Eastern Temples include the Ghantai Temple, Javari Temple, and the Vamana Temple, dedicated to the dwarf incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

    Visit Western Group of Temples - Western group of temples include the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple to Lord Shiva and the Chaunsath Yogini Temple, dedicated to the 64 Yoginis of the Goddess Kali. Among the Western Temples you will view the Bharatji Temple, with its 11-headed sculpture of Vishnu.
