Deer Park

Jha Deer Park which has been named after an established Social Worker Aditya Nath Jha as token of respect for his highly appreciated and determined work for the society. Located in the South Delhi, this tourist spot shares the area with other spots like Duck Park, Picnic Spots, Rabbit Enclosure, and Rose Garden etc. These have been strategically located in close proximity so that tourists can have a big dose of entertainment in a single day itself.

Here people can capitalize from activities like walking, jogging, playing games and many more to enlist. One can even come here for weekend outings. The park has four subsections to it where each promises to lure the visitors of any age group. The subsections are Rose Garden, Deer Park, Fountain & District Park, Old Monuments and Hauz Khas Art Market.
The tourists also enjoy the advantage of this tourist attraction being well connected as the park can be easily approached from Safdarjung Enclave and Green Park, Hauz Khas Village. Being connected to the District Park, this is also approachable form R K Puram near the courts side of the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association. People who have an inclination towards studying historical monuments will also be satisfactorily dealt with as this area also houses certain Mughal Monuments.

Most importantly and extremely convenient for the visitors this place has a free entry for all and is open on all days. During winters it opens at a very convenient 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM and during winter 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the summertime.
