Fondly known by the name of Girnar Jain Temple, the Jain Temples of Junagadh is a major site of interest in Junagadh, Gujarat. This temple is located at the hill of Girnar and is dedicated to Digambara and Svetambara sect of Jainism. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankara in Jainism. It is visited on a huge scale by the followers of Jainism.

4) The sanctum of this temple houses an alluring idol of Lord Neminath in a seated position. His idol is carved out of the black marble and it holds the lotus flower in one hand.
5) According to the legends, this shrine is built on the exact spot where Lord Neminath meditated to attain salvation when he saw a mass slaughter of animals for food preparation on his wedding.
