CLASSICAL VIETNAM 7 DAYS/6 NIGHTS

Arrival in Hanoi with airport transfer to hotel then a Half day SIC Hanoi city tour commencing from the hotel. Visits include Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake, the Ho Chi Minh Complex at 09:30 with opportunities to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh subject to schedule plus the stilt houses and One Pillar Pagoda, a Vietnamese set menu lunch at a local restaurant, the Temple of Literature and the Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Tour ends with hotel check in and evening free at leisure. Note on modest dress and mausoleum closure timings provided.

Day trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh with morning pickup at 07:15–07:45 and a drive of approximately 2 hours 110 km. Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital with temples dedicated to Emperors Dinh and Le and learn about the 9th century capital. Lunch at 12:00 in a local restaurant. At 13:30 take a sampan boat trip through Tam Coc Three Caves with limestone cliffs caves rice paddies and countryside vistas. At 15:30 climb to the summit of Mua Cave Ngoa Long Mountain for panoramic views then return to Hanoi at 17:15. Evening free at leisure without guide and driver.

Depart Hanoi in the morning with driver pickup at 07:30–08:00 to Ha Long Bay a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its thousands of limestone islands grottoes and caves. Board the cruise and check in at noon with lunch served as the cruise sails. Afternoon activities include cave visits kayaking swimming sunbathing and a cooking class. Dinner and evening night program are hosted on board. Overnight on cruise in Ha Long Bay with breakfast at hotel prior to departure and Vietnamese food served on board.

Morning on the cruise with optional Tai Chi on the sundeck or sunbathing followed by breakfast and continued cruising visiting caves or floating villages. Brunch is served on board before checkout around 11:00. Meet shuttle bus driver and transfer back to Hanoi then meet driver for transfer to Noi Bai International Airport to board flight to Danang with a suggested flight VJ509 19:55/21:15. On arrival in Danang meet the guide transfer to hotel and check in.

Morning at leisure in Danang then meet the SIC tour guide at 13:00. At 14:00 visit Cam Thanh Coconut Village with a traditional basket boat ride through serene canals. At 15:00 explore Hoi An Old Town UNESCO World Heritage Site with narrow streets yellow buildings ancient temples and traditional houses. At 17:00 enjoy a meal at a local eatery. At 18:30 take a Hoai River boat ride craft a lantern on board and release it onto the river at night. At 19:30 explore Hoi An at night visiting the lantern lit streets and vibrant night market. Return to Da Nang by 20:30 and drop to your hotel.

Check out in the morning leave baggage at bell desk then pickup at 07:30 for a full day SIC tour to Ba Na Hills. Take the world record cable car to the summit visit Debay Wine Cellar Le Jardin DAmour Flower Garden the Golden Bridge and Linh Ung Pagoda with a 27m tall Buddha. Buffet lunch at 11:30. Afternoon includes summit exploration Chua Mountain Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple French Square and Fantasy Park. Return via cable car with arrival back to hotel around 17:00–17:45 to collect luggage then transfer to Danang airport to board flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival meet guide transfer to hotel and check in.

Breakfast and check out then a private Saigon city tour with visits to Independence Palace also known as Reunification Palace then viewing French colonial landmarks Notre Dame Cathedral outside and the Central Post Office. Later proceed to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the extensive wartime tunnel network with living areas trap doors field hospitals and command centers. At 14:30 transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport to board flight home concluding the tour.
