Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu to Katra

  Morning arrival from Jammu Tawi railway station and transfer to Katra. Same day after having dinner respected group proceed to Mata Vaishno Davi Darshan. Morning arrive from Darshan freshen up and breakfast in same hotel.

  Arrival from Darshan and rest day free for personal activities. Evening visit local market by own. Dinner and overnight stay in same.

• Day 3 : Katra to Srinagar

  After taking breakfast drive to Srinagar. A summer capital of state Jammu and Kashmir. 300Km distance covered minimum 8 hours. Evening arrive at Srinagar. Check Inn hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in same.

• Day 4 : Srinagar to Gulmarg

  Post breakfast drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. The old name of Gulmarg was "Gaurimarg", the name of Lord Shiva's wife. Yousuf Shah Chak changed its name to Gulmarg, meaning the place of roses. During the early part of the 20th century the famous Central Asian explorer Sir Marc Aurel Stein (1862–1943), made his home here in a tent between his expeditions. It was a favorite summer holiday destination for the British stationed in India. Back to Srinagar dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar in same hotel.

  Today after taking breakfast checkout from hotel to House boat. Same respected group went to Local city tour cover Mughal gardens, Shankar Acharaya temple, Dargah hazratbal and evening Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at House boat

• Day 6 : House boat to Sonmarg to House boat

  Full day visit to Sonmarg. Sonmarg which means the meadow of gold has as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sind meanders here and abounds with trout and mahseer, snow trout can be caught in the main river . In the April when Sonmarg is open for road transport, the visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. Back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in House boat

• Day 8 : Pahalgam to Patnitop

  After having breakfast drive to Patnitop The name 'Patnitop' is a distortion of the original name of the place, "Patan Da Talab" meaning "Pond of the Princess". In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and a certain princess often used to bathe there. Some part of the pond still exists near the local youth hostel. It may be the case that the British had difficulties recording the Indian name correctly in their revenue records. Hence, over the years the name has changed from "Patan Da Talab" to Patnitop.Dinner and overnight stay in same.

• Day 9 : Patnitop to Amritsar

  After having breakfast drive to Amritsar is one of the largest cities of the Punjab state in India. The city origin lies in the village of Tung, and was named after the lake founded by the fourth Sikh Guru Ram Das in 1574 on land bought by him for 700 rupees from the owners of the village of Tung. Earlier Guru Ram Das had begun building Santokhsar Sarovar, near the village of Sultanwind in 1564 (according to one source in 1570). It could not be completed before 1588. In 1574, Guru Ram Das built his residence and moved to this place. At that time, it was known as Guru Da Chakk. (Later, it came to be known as Chakk Ram Das.)
