This 7 day 6 night Jammu and Kashmir tour covers pilgrimage, scenic drives and valley excursions across Jammu, Katra, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg. Highlights include a pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, a stay option in a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake with an optional Shikara ride, a Gulmarg excursion with optional Gondola cable car and seasonal snow activities, visits to Pahalgam including Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari, and a seasonal excursion to Sonamarg with possible visit to Thajiwas Glacier. The itinerary features scenic Himalayan drives with approximate travel times provided where available.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Jammu To Katra

Arrival at Jammu followed by a drive to Katra of approximately 50 km taking about 1.5 hours. On arrival check in to the hotel and rest to prepare for the pilgrimage. Evening and overnight stay is in Katra.
Day 2 Katra

Vaishno Devi

Early morning Vaishno Devi darshan from Katra involving the trek to the Holy Shrine or optional helicopter or pony transfer. After completion of darshan return to Katra and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3 Katra To Srinagar

Dal Lake

After breakfast drive from Katra to Srinagar covering approximately 250 km in around 7 to 8 hours through scenic Himalayan landscape. On arrival check in to a hotel or a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. In the evening enjoy an optional peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4 Srinagar To Gulmarg To Srinagar

Gulmarg

Excursion from Srinagar to Gulmarg, known as the Meadow of Flowers, approximately 50 km each way taking around 1.5 hours each way. Activities include optional Gondola cable car ride and seasonal snow activities, exploring meadows and scenic viewpoints. Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.
Day 5 Srinagar To Pahalgam

Aru ValleyLidder RiverPahalgamChandanwari

Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam covering approx 90 km taking about 2.5 to 3 hours via Pampore saffron fields and Awantipora ruins. Visit attractions in Pahalgam such as Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari by local taxi and enjoy the picturesque Lidder River. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 6 Pahalgam To Srinagar Via Sonamarg

Drive from Pahalgam with a seasonal excursion to Sonamarg subject to road and weather conditions. Visit Thajiwas Glacier by pony as an optional activity. Return to Srinagar and if time permits explore Mughal Gardens including Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh and visit Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 7 Srinagar

After breakfast check out from the hotel in Srinagar and transfer to Srinagar Airport for onward journey, concluding the tour with memories of Jammu and Kashmir.
