Journey to Bhutan

On arrival to Paro, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and drive to Thimphu (capital town). On reaching Thimphu, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch there will be sightseeing at important places in Thimphu. After sightseeing, check in hotel for dinner and overnight stay

After morning breakfast, drive to Punakha valley via Dochula. On reaching Punakha, lunch will be served and there will be a small hike to Chimmi Lhakhang which is a 14th century Buddhist temple. After the hike, visit Punakha Dzong which is the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan. After sightseeing, check in Hotel for dinner and over night stay at Punakha.

Early morning wake up for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Central part of Bhutan covering 3 major districts. There will be a stop in the way at Phobjikha valley for a short excursion and lunch. After lunch continue drive to Bumthang. On arrival to Bumthang, check in hotel for dinner and over night stay

After the breakfast, go for sightseeing in important places in Bumthang such as Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjay Lhakhang and Maybar Tsho. After sightseeing drive back to Hotel for dinner and over night stay

After morning breakfast, drive back to Punakha via Tongsa Dzong. There will be a sightseeing in Tongsa fortress and continue journey to Punakha. After reaching punakha, dinner and over night stay.

After breakfast, Drive to Paro which would take around 3-4 hours. Lunch will be served at Dochulla pass. On reaching the beautiful Paro valley, there will be short sightseeing in Paro Dzong (Fortress), and the main town. After that drive to hotel for check in.

After breakfast drive to Haa valley which would take about 3 hours via Chellela Pass which is he highest point between Paro and Haa. Lunch will be served in Haa valley and after sightseeing, drive back to Paro. There will also be a farm house visit and dinner. There is an option for traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, however which would incur additional cost. Interested may also try Bhutanese wine.

Afer breakfast, drive to Taksang or tiger's nest monastery for a hike. Taksang monastery elevates up to 800 meters above Paro valley and it is one of the main highlights of Bhutan. The hike duration is about 5-6 hours round trip and after hike there will be a one last stop at Kichu Lhakhang which is one of the oldest Buddhist temple in Bhutan. After sightseeing, back to hotel for dinner and over night stay.

After early breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
