Arrival Paro
On arrival to Paro, our tour guide amd driver will receive you from the air port and transfer to the capital town of Bhutan (Thimphu). Thimphu is the most developed district in our country and it has many tourist sightseeing areas like the memorial stupa, Buddha point, Taken Zoo, traditional paper making factory, Tashicho Dzong and national weaving center. After sightseeing check in hotel for dinner and over night stay in Thimphu.
Punakha valley via Dochulla Pass
Morning after breakfast, drive to Punakha valley via Dochulla pass. The drive will take 2-3 hours and Punakha valley is located between 1500-2000 meters above sea level. Therefore the weather is warm compared to Thimphu. On arrival, lunch will be served and sightseeing at Chimmi Lhakhang and Punakha Dzong. Check in hotel for dinner and over night stay in Punakha valley.
Drive to Paro
After morning breakfast, drive to Paro valley which would take about 3 hours drive. On arrival to Paro valley, lunch will be served and sightseeing at Paro Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang and Paro town. Check in hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Taksang trek
This trek is the main highlight of the tour, which would take about 5-6 hours round trip. Taksang is an ancient Buddist monastery with an elevation of 800 meters from Paro valley.
After the trek, back to hotel to refresh and visit an old farm house for dinner.
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
