Arrival at the airport. You will be received by our representative at Cochin International Airport and transferred to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Munnar a hill station with spectacular views where three mountain streams meet. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India (2695 m), is an ideal spot for trekking. Eravikulam National Park is another major attraction. Relax and enjoy the captivating beauty and pleasant weather of Munnar. On the way, visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Overnight stay in Munnar.

After breakfast, set out for sightseeing. Rajamalai is home to the Nilgiri Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat, and Anamudi is the tallest peak in South India. After lunch and a short rest, you may continue sightseeing. Visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point. Echo Point is known for its natural echo phenomenon. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Check out after breakfast and proceed to Thekkady. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, located amidst rich jungles and plantations in Thekkady, is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

After breakfast, proceed to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Go on an evening game-viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you may see a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, and many unique bird species. Later return to the hotel, relax, and enjoy your overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Check in to the houseboat and enjoy the magic of the backwaters on a houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala while getting a glimpse of village life at close quarters – a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat.

Upon arrival in Kumarakom, check in at your pre-booked hotel. Kumarakom is a paradise for nature lovers. In this beautiful backwater town, you can relax in a canoe amidst tranquil surroundings where the only presence is yours and the egrets. Later visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, located on the banks of Vembanad Lake, where numerous bird species including Darters, Bitterns, Brahminy Kites, Marsh Harriers, Teals, and several varieties of Herons can be spotted. For avid birdwatchers, it is advisable to carry binoculars. Return to the hotel. Do not miss Karimeen and fresh toddy, the favourite freshwater delicacy and local drink. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
