  I've been on safari many times, but this experience in Hell's Gate National Park was completely different. Where we usually see animals in a jeep, we cycled through chameleon-colored mountains, gurgling gorges, and open nature trails. Zebras and impalas walked side by side - as if they were walking with us! During the boat ride on Lake Naivasha, we saw hippos from close quarters, and the chorus of white herons and mallards seemed to create a strange calm. Lake Nakuru was the final destination of the trip - there were rows of giant flamingos, and we were lucky enough to see two white rhinos.   I visited Diani and the Maasai Mara in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable adventure. Diani’s beaches were absolutely stunning, with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. The weather was perfect for both relaxation and water activities like snorkeling. The local culture added to the charm, making my stay incredibly enjoyable. The Maasai Mara was the highlight of the trip. Seeing the Big Five up close in their natural habitat was beyond words. The safari was well-organized, with expert guides who shared fascinating insights into the wildlife and ecosystems. The vast savannahs, coupled with the dramatic skies, created breathtaking views. Both destinations offered a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a combination of beautiful beaches and incredible wildlife experiences. ...more
